Morula Health, a leading provider of regulatory and clinical medical writing services for the biotechnology industry, has announced a charitable donation to the Society for Mucopolysaccharide Diseases (MPS), the UK's only registered charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by MPS, Fabry and related lysosomal diseases.
Anna Featherstone, Head of Fundraising at MPS commented: “Thank you ever so much! This will truly make a huge difference to the families we support. As the only UK charity providing professional support to over 1,800 individuals and families affected by MPS, Fabry, and related lysosomal diseases, our Support and Advocacy team provides a unique and wide-ranging support service for our community.” She added: “This includes specialist advice, support, and information from the point of diagnosis, which is so important to our families”.
"Supporting the MPS Society aligns perfectly with our mission at Morula Health," said Philip Burridge, Director, Operations & Strategy at Morula Health, "Every day, we work with biotechnology companies to accelerate their research through high-quality clinical documentation. We understand firsthand the critical importance of rigorous research in developing treatments for rare diseases. The MPS Society's work in funding research into lysosomal diseases represents exactly the kind of scientific advancement we're privileged to support through our services, and now through this charitable contribution."
The connection between Morula Health's work and the MPS Society's mission is clear: both organizations are committed to accelerating the path from research to treatment. By supporting the MPS Society's research initiatives, Morula Health is investing in the scientific breakthroughs that will one day improve and save the lives of those affected by these devastating rare diseases.
